Starting with Foundation Behaviors - the basis of all training - and in addition to the usual household manners such as house training, sit, down, stay, and walk on a loose leash, the dog also learns to:
  • Maintain eye contact
  • Follow a target - such as your hand, into the vet's office, going into his crate while being house trained, or past dogs & other distractions on walks
  • Settle on a mat
  • Respond to cues (directions), and
  • Offer behaviors - through Clicker Training a dog is encouraged to offer different behaviors until it is rewarded.
